This is a syndrome that occurs during exercise and does not go away until you stop exercising. It causes aching, squeezing or cramping pain along the front of the lower leg. It is caused due to an increase in pressure during exercise. It is important to get to the cause of the symptoms to be able to treat and manage the condition.

It is the swelling or inflammation of the Achilles tendon. The tendon is located just above the ankle or heel bone. This tendon is often injured with excessive running, jumping on uneven or hard surfaces or with excessive repetitive movements. The pain usually subsides with time, therapy, and with some exercises.
