Conquering the Impossible: My Journey of Running 10,000km in 119 Days
Vishak Krishnaswamy, the unstoppable ultra-runner from India, embarks on an extraordinary quest: running 10,000km in just 119 days.
Running can become boring if you run alone for a long time. So on 1st August 2015, 4 runners from Hadapsar came together and started running in a group, twice a week. Over a period of time numerous other friends and acquaintances joined in and the numbers multiplied. With increasing numbers we started doing group activities and also participating in marathons. We started hosting talks of other inspirational athletes from the town, Sports Nutritionists and Sports Physiotherapists. Inspiring others to attain a good level of fitness and helping them in their quest is what we aim for.
After numerous runs, long runs, running events over last 2 & half years, now we are 100+ strong and we call ourselves the “Runaholics”.
