Hundred Days of Running is a fitness platform which organizes virtual running and cycling challenges. Since 2015, they have organized 100+ virtual events including 7 editions of 100 Days of Running. Based out of Delhi, India, HDOR is the fastest momentum gaining event in the virtual running space, with 19,000+ registered participants in the 2021 edition. 

Story Behind HDOR

The event came into existence as an attempt by enthusiastic and motivated runners who now comprise the core team of HDOR. It started as a fitness movement to encourage people to make running a part of their lives, a habit, and a step towards becoming healthier.

How Does it Work?

You have to sign up using their website or mobile app. Register for the event. Setup automatic activity data sync to HDOR using any of the supported mobile or GPS apps – Strava, Garmin Connect, GoogleFit App, May My Run, FitBit, Runkeeper, Apple Health and Tom Tom Sports.

Important Dates

The 8th edition of HDOR will begin from 30 April 2022 to 7 August. Registrations are open till 20 April and you can sign up using this link.  

Purpose of HDOR

This is a challenge to run/walk a minimum of 2 km a day for 100 days continuously. To make it convenient and accessible to people from various walks of life, they have started organising many events. 100 days is considered to be the perfect length to adopt a new behaviour and make it a new habit. Whether you want to lose weight, you are looking for a new form of exercise, you want to take up a challenge, you want to pursue running as a sport, HDOR is your way to begin with.
