Glycogen Bhaago India

Glycogen is a glucose polysaccharide. Our body converts carbohydrates into a form of sugar called glucose, which is then changed to glycogen. It is an important source of stored glucose and is mainly stored in our muscles in the liver. Though there’s very limited capacity to store it, glycogen is indispensable to athletes. Runners rely on a combination of glycogen, stored fat, and immediately available carbs which act as an energy source. Stores of glycogen in the human body vary drastically with diet, workout and stress.
