Simple Steps Kids' Run - 8th Edition 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

We are excited to invite you to the 8th edition of the Simple Steps Kids' Run in Pune, happening on Sunday, November 26, 2023. This event was born from the idea of promoting fitness and sports participation among children and celebrating Children's Day. 🎉

Why Kids' Running is Important:

Running is a simple exercise that strengthens bones, muscles, and coordination.
It's good for the cardiovascular system.
It's fun and encourages kids to participate in sports.

Distance for Age Groups:
2 to 3 years: 100 meters (Fun Run)
4 to 6 years: 1.5 km (Competitive Race)
7 to 8 years: 3 km (Competitive Race)
9 to 11 years: 5 km (Competitive Race)
12 to 15 years: 7 km (Competitive Race)
Parents Run: For parents/guardians who want to run with their child (Fun Run)

Please note: Bib and T-shirt collection is compulsory for participation, and it will take place on Saturday, November 25, 2023.

There will also be multiple activities planned for the children on the bib collection day to make it a fun experience! 🎽🏅🍬

Rules for Races and Prizes:

Competitive races include 1.5 km, 3 km, 5 km, and 7 km. Top 3 participants in each category will be awarded for both boys and girls.
Competitive race results are based on the timing chip.
Parents/guardians are responsible for their child's medical fitness.
Organizers and sponsors will not be responsible for any theft, damage, or physical injury during the race but will provide first aid assistance.
All kids must obey event rules and regulations, with non-compliance resulting in disqualification.
No parents are allowed on the ground without bib numbers.
Bibs will not be distributed on the race day.
