After a gap of 2 years, we are finally ready to host a Physical on-Ground edition at the Godrej Waterside for the most picturesque running event of the city. Registrations for the 7th edition on 27th November 2022, are now open !!

The only urban trail run of the city – JBG Kolkata Trail Run in its 7th year introduces an AIMS & World Athletics certified Kolkata World 10K category which promises to deliver PBs on a flat course on 3rd April 2022. This 10KM route is an all road route and not trails. A unique opportunity now for more runners of our city to achieve qualifying timings for international events. Eligibility to participate is 13 yrs and above

 

This is a timed category and entire route is paved road. There are no trail section in this category. Eligibility to participate is 13 yrs and above

 

 

The event will retain the picturesque route of East Kolkata Wetlands with a Trail 8 kms category that will go through the off-roads of the wetland villages, fields and in between water bodies. This is not a timed category and route is 60% trails. Eligibility to participate is 13 yrs and above

 

This a free category for a limited number of children aged between 8 to 12 yrs old. The route will be all road and no trails. One extra bib will be given which will allow one guardian to run alongside the registered child. However the event kit will be only for the registered child.

Free registration includes event participation, running bib (chest number) and post run refreshment for both the participating child and the guardian.

Finisher Medal and Tshirt in KidRun category is optional and charged separately. If you need both, then select the option at time of registration. Tshirt will be provided at the bib distribution and Finisher Medal after the race.

Eligibility to participate is 8 to 12 yrs

 

- Have a toddler at home under 8 yrs old

- We will take care of him/ her while you complete your run

Only in Kolkata World 10K category, top three finishers in Male and Female category will be awarded in the following age groups -

• 13 to 17 yrs

• 18 to 34 yrs

• 35 to 49 yrs

• 50 and above

 

The other two races - Trail 8K and Endura 5k – are open categories and do not have age categories. Only the top 3 finishers in Male and Female will be awarded here.

 

KIDRUN 2k – There are no podium prizes. However all participants to get finisher medal.

 

• Minimum 13 years of age for 10kms, 8kms and 5kms category, and

• 8 to 12 yrs for 2kms KIDRUN category

 

• Event registration is non-refundable and non-transferable

• Transferred BIBs may lead DNF

• Participant kit (Tshirt, bib etc will be given before the event during bib distribution expo - the details will be communicated)

• Covid protocols defined by the State Government during the event day will be applicable

• Covid protocols for interstate travel by air, road or rail will be applicable as defined by the Central and relevant State Government
