JBG Kolkata Trail Run - 7th Edition
After a gap of 2 years, Sportiz and Jai Balaji Group are ready to host a Physical on-ground edition at the Godrej Waterside for the most picturesque running event in the city. Registrations for the 7th edition on 27 November 2022 are now open !!

TIMED CATEGORIES
- KOLKATA WORLD 10K
Which promises to deliver PBs on a flat course on 27 November 2022. This 10KM route is an all-road route and not trail. This a unique opportunity now for more runners in our city to achieve qualifying timings for international events. Eligibility to participate is 13 yrs and above. - ENDURA 5K
This is a timed category and the entire route is a paved road. There is no trail section in this category. Eligibility to participate is 13 yrs and above
NON-TIMED CATEGORIES
- TRAIL 8K
The event will retain the picturesque route of East Kolkata Wetlands with a trail 8 kms category that will go through the off-roads of the wetland villages, fields and in between water bodies. This is not a timed category and the route is 60% trails. Eligibility to participate is 13 yrs and above. - KIDRUN 2K (FREE Registration)
This a free category for a limited number of children aged between 8 to 12 yrs old. The route will be all road and no trails. One extra bib will be given which will allow one guardian to run alongside the registered child. However, the event kit will be only for the registered child. Free registration includes event participation, running bib (chest number) and post-run refreshments for both the participating child and the guardian. There are no podium prizes. However, all participants get a finisher medal.
The finisher Medal and T-shirt in KidRun category is optional and charged separately. If you need both, then select the option at the time of registration. T-shirt will be provided at the bib distribution and Finisher Medal after the race. Eligibility to participate is 8 to 12 yrs.

Only in Kolkata World 10K category, the top three finishers in Male and Female category will be awarded in the following age groups -
- 13 to 17 yrs
- 18 to 34 yrs
- 35 to 49 yrs
- 50 and above

The other two races - Trail 8K and Endura 5K – are open categories and do not have age categories. Only the top 3 finishers in Male and Female will be awarded here.
AGE CRITERION -
Minimum 13 years of age for 10 kms, 8 kms and 5 kms categories, and
8 to 12 yrs for 2 kms KID RUN category
KEY NOTES FOR PARTICIPANTS -
- Event registration is non-refundable and non-transferable
- Transferred BIBs may lead to DNF
- Participant kit (Tshirt, bib etc will be given before the event during bib distribution expo - the details will be communicated)
- Covid protocols defined by the State Government during the event day will be applicable
- Covid protocols for interstate travel by air, road or rail will be applicable as defined by the Central and relevant State Government
