“My Personal Best is Yet to Come.”
Swara Ahluwalia, running since 10 years, emphasises on the importance of injury-free running
Swara took up running a decade ago when she signed up to run a marathon through a charity program in the US. Soon after that she moved to India, and came back to serious running after giving birth to first daughter. She has been running since 2006 (close to 1 year break for second pregnancy in 2020). Running is no longer just something she does for fitness-it’s part of who she is and her lifestyle, which she feels now even her young daughters know. Swara hopes running continues to be part of her life in her 50s&60s.
Her personal bests include 46 minute 10km at TCS World 10km where she stood on the podium for her age category & 1:39 for a half marathon. She has also run a 50km ultra.
Swara is freelance content writer and is fond of reading, fashion styling and movies in her spare time.
