Making Records by Running Beyond the Comfort Zone
Gurleen Arora shares her story of how she transformed her lifestyle and became an ultra-marathoner, wellness coach and an avid cyclist.
Gurleen Arora aka Sherni started her running journey with a 10 kms run on one of events specially designed for Women in 2016 as her friends were participating in the same.
She picked up running to come out of some health-related issues post pregnancy, and since then, there has been no looking back. She has done ultra-marathons including one of 80kms, more than 10 marathons, numerous half marathons, cycling including one more than 300Kms and trekked to Everest Base Camp. She has many podiums to her credit, Ladhak Marathon podium she always cherishes. She narrates this quite often “Just like you live in your house, you live with your body, too… it is your utmost responsibility to keep them in good condition”. With the wonderful track record Gurleen has branded for herself and her ‘never giving up’ attitude, we are sure she will do nothing but knock her challenges dead in her future!
