On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of liberation of Bangladesh, India’s victory in the 1971 war and to celebrate Indo-Bangladesh friendship, 'Indian Navy Swarnim Maitri Half Marathon-2021' (SMHM-21) is being organized in New Delhi on 19th December 2021. The mega event will pay tribute and honour the sacrifices made by our brave armed forces and 'Mukti Bahini' during the 1971 Indo-Pak war.
We are expecting a big turnout in both On-ground and Virtual modes across three distance categories; 5K, 10K and 21.1K. The likely venue for on-ground INSMHM-21 will be in Delhi Cantt. The route will be the flattest, greenest and most runner-friendly to give everyone the best running experience.
This is a one-of-a-kind Hybrid event with On-ground and Virtual categories and is open to participants all over India and internationally too. The participants will receive running bibs with timing chips, t-shirts, goody bags, medals, refreshment, finishers' photos post the run and most importantly a rare opportunity to run stride to stride with men and women of our armed forces to celebrate the victory and to honour the sacrifices they have made.

Registrations & BIB Allotment
Participants will be permitted to register in only one category (Virtual or On Ground)
The final on-ground participation will strictly depend on the government COVID guidelines in December
Participants will not be allowed to change their race categories post-registration, so we advise the participants to be careful while selecting the categories
Request for Name, Email-Id and Contact information change will be entertained only once for Genuine cases during the entire registration process
In case of a participant filling incomplete/incorrect information at the time of registrations the organiser will not be held accountable due to any delay in delivery of goodies, medals etc.
-Participants must only run once between 12th to 19th and finish their run in one session. Screenshots of multiple sessions will not be entertained.

Participants will not be allowed entry without masks
All participants will have to submit a final vaccination certificate or a Negative RT-PCR report of no later than 72hrs to enter the venue
The race will be flagged off in waves of 50 to maintain social distancing
A baggage facility will be provided at the venue, but the organisers will not be responsible for the loss of any valuable items
Gates for the event will close within 30 minutes after flag-off and no participant shall be allowed to start the race post the 30-minute mark
