Kerala Olympic Association is conducting Kerala Olympic Marathon in connection with the first Kerala Olympic Games. It is happening at Thiruvananthapuram on the 1st of May 2022. The event consists of two categories, the half marathon and the 10k Run. BIBs with timing chips (RFID chips) will be used to monitor race results.

It is expected that prominent persons from all walks of life across India will be participating in the first Kerala Olympic Marathon. The total prize money offered 11 lakhs is one of the highest prize money in the Country in the Half Marathon Category. Kerala Olympic Association is also honoring the Olympic medal winners (from India) of the Tokyo Olympics and Olympic participants from Kerala along with the Opening Ceremony of Kerala Olympic Games on 30th of April 2022. These Olympians, other prominent sportspersons, celebrities from all parts will be joining in the marathon.
