Marathoning. The triumph of desire over reason . -New Balance

Running is a fun social activity that provides fun experience and opportunity to travel. Ambhos is thrilled to announce a running event, Doon Valley Marathon to promote fitness among the people and to give tribute to our martyr soldiers.

The Marathon is organised in the sprawling city of Dehradun with its speckled picturesque places and vedent landscapes which enhances its natural beauty. The marathon will be a long single loop from IT Park, Ashtal, Rajpur Road, Maldevta, Sahastradhara Road, and back to IT Park. The race structure is divided into three categories of 5, 10 and 21 kilometres for different age groups of all gender. The event will commence on April 10, 2022 at 5 a.m. and will conclude by noon.

Dignitaries includes our brand ambassador Col Krishan Singh Badhwar, SM, and HDOR 2021 Winner, the world record holder of most consecutive ultra marathons and the record holder of completing a 222 km marathon in a single run.

As Face of the Event we have Major Shashi Mehta. She is NCC officer, ultra marathon runner and marathon queen of Dehradun.

As a source of encouragement to all the participants Captain Dharamveer Singh is invited as the chief guest. He is a learner with over 17 years of Military, Corporate and Entrepreneurial experience, a mountaineer, runner, TEDx Speaker, and runner-up of Khatron Ke Khiladi, the television show.

All the participants will get a participation certificate and winners will be awarded with medals and gifts. So grab the opportunity at the earliest possible and register yourself for Doon Valley Marathon. Runners who have taken both doses of the vaccination can only register for the event.

To register for the 21 K you must be 17 years of age or older on event day.

To register for the 10K you must be 15 years of age or older on event day.

To register for the 5K you must be 14 years of age or older on event day.
